Taking up the space where Coquo used to be, Deuce is an eatery that encourages its customers to share its delicious platters. It may not have a menu as extensive as its wine list but trust us when we say its small plates of deep fried kale, smoked Cecina and the well-loved 'Octopus' are well worth your money. Dubbed as one of the best pork restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, El Cerdo is certainly one of the oldest in KL. It's one of the best spots in the party district for a cold one and some great salsa tunes – some nights you'll see a live salsa band and dance shows too! The word 'sapore' means flavour in Italian and boy does it pack lots of it. Make sure to try its Flavoured Tuscany Pork Lard that's thinly sliced pork fat seasoned with rock salt and black pepper. It's a melt-in-your-mouth kind of delicious and would go perfectly with the wines offered here. The generous portions here definitely call for sharing the food with friends and family. We did say ‘Spanish’, the outlet uses everything Mediterranean and that includes Spanish gin, wines and also cured meat; down to their salt and olive oil.
