The latest Carlsberg product is a low abv pilsner at 2.8%. The product was said to have been designed by the Innovation team in the UK to attract light drinkers.

Since the passing UK legislation last year for new duty on beer according to its abv level, there are adjustments on corporate strategy for many breweries. The demand for low abv may be the next commercial beer trend attributed to consumers’ increasing health consciousness and the lower price.

Carlsberg Citrus is now available on retail in the UK but we are uncertain if it will come on shore Malaysia anytime soon.
