The Gin Jubilee is back for the third time in our country! It's going to be five days of celebrating, appreciating and drinking good old gin and tonic cocktails. This year's edition will feature 20 local bars including Bar Trigona (Four Seasons KL), Three X CO and Coley as well as beloved gin brands such as Hendrick's Gin, Monkey 47, Citadelle, The Botanist and Fords Gin. The Gin Jubilee will also have masterclasses, tasting events and a one-day festival to close the celebrations.

"Gin & Tonics are becoming increasingly popular in Malaysia, where the weather is summer all year round," said Shawn Samuel, CEO of Wholly Spirits the organiser of Gin Jubilee. "The drink's approachability has given KL-ites a whole new outlook on the cocktail scene and cocktail culture."

Then there's the Best Gin & Tonic in KL competition to look forward to. The winner of the competition will earn a trip to the Singapore finale (30th November – 8th December) to compete for the Asia's Best Gin & Tonic title. Click here to find out how to vote for your favourite bartenders.

On the very last day, the Gin Jubilee will close with the popular Gin Lane event at Plaza Batai. Here is where all the participating bars and their bartenders will craft their wide range of creative G&Ts for the public to sample. There'll even be a retail pop-up store on site! Let's not forget that Gin Lane will only use biodegradable cups and straws at the event.

"The G&T trend in Malaysia is still at its infancy and can only continue to grow," Shawn said. "Gin Jubilee is a great way for consumers to get to know the brands that are out there, and know that they indeed have a choice when it comes to drinking great G&Ts in KL."
