Louis Guntrum Wine Maker's Dinner at Brotzeit, Mid Valley

Riesling has become quite popular lately at every part of the world. As the fondness for this easy to drink wine grows, little did we know that Louis Guntrum wine has been in the Malaysia market for more than 20 years and was the very first German wine brand that establishes itself in this young wine drinking market.

Louis Konstantin Guntrum (pic), the 11th generation of the wine brand has recently paid a visit to Kuala Lumpur and teamed up with German restaurant and bar – Brotzeit in Mid Valley for a wine and food pairing session for wine lovers.

Konstantin told us about the rich and exciting history of the wine brand and shared with us his view about the pairings. The meals were prepared by Head Chef Helmutz from Brotzeit and Konstantin arranged which wines to go with the dish later on. To understand how to read the wine label on German Riesling, refer to Konstantin's guide here.
