Pinot Palooza SG

Pinot Palooza SG

Australia's largest Pinot Noir and music festival which started in Melbourne in 2013 is coming to Singapore. Organised by Revel Global, the festival will be held at the Esplanade on 25 November 2017.

According to festival founder Dan Sims, who is also a well-known wine commentator, educator and personality in Australia, 38% of all wine consumed in Singapore is Australian. It therefore makes sense that Singapore is the first city in Asia to host this event. Other than Melbourne, the festival has also expanded to Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.

Festival goers can expect to taste more than 100 Pinot Noir wines from over 40 wineries from Australia, New Zealand, the US and Italy; enjoy the music, food pairing prepared by Singapore's best restaurants and also vote for their favourite wines and stand a chance to win prizes.

Only 500 tickets are available at SGD50 (early bird) and SGD60 (general admission). Ticket price includes a Plumm RedB glass valued at SGD35 to take home. Buy your tickets at Pinot Palooza's website.

Pinot Noir is a red wine grape variety that is most famously associated with Burgundy in France. Pinot Noir in French means black pine, describing the tight pine cone shaped clusters of near-black grapes. The grape variety is now grown around the world in Australia, New Zealand and particularly popular in the US.
