The Golden Three
Spirits aficionados will be thrilled this year at Whisky Live Singapore as three big names in the industry will be presenting in the 2-day show. Dave Broom, Luca Gargano and Rogerio Igarashi Vaz, known as The Golden Three by the organiser, La Maison Du Whisky, will each present a session where enthusiasts can be up close and personal with them.
Dave Broom
A journalist who has 20 years experience in writing about spirits and a consultant for various drinks firms, will be hosting a comparative tasting masterclass of the last two barrels of Karuizawa whisky. La Maison Du Whisky will bottle the Karuizawa 1965 Bourbon Cask and Karuizawa 1965 Sherry Cask in celebration of their 10th anniversary in Singapore.

Luca Gargano
The rum legend who bought over Velier rum at the age of 27 (in 1983) also discovered the difference in taste and characters between a rum aged in two different climates. He will be hosting a masterclass of Velier’s range of premier rums.
Rogerio Igarashi Vaz
The co-founder and chief bartender of Bar Tram and Bar Trench in Japan will be making his debut by recreating Bar Trench, which was chosen as one of the world’s 100 best bars in 2014, exclusively for the show. The master mixologist will be behind the bar making drinks for guests with original and exclusive creations that showcase the latest cocktail trends in Japan.
Special dining menu using whisky
Other than the trio above, the Executive Chef of Capella Hotel Singapore, Chef David Nicolas Senia will also be creating an exclusive dining menu for Whisky Live 2016 where whisky is used as a key ingredient.
300 whisky expressions
Close to 300 expressions and over 60 whisk(e)y and spirit brands will be showcase this year. Four single malt whisky brands that make their debut in Whisky Live Singapore are The Macallan, Old Pulteney, Balblair and AnCnoc. The returning labels from previous year are Glenfiddich, Dalmore, Kavalan, Aberlour, Mortlach, Nikka, Monkey 47, Chalong Bay, and Don Papa and more.
The Collector Room
This has always been the highlight at the Show as whisky aficionados get to relish in rare and highly sought-after bottles from across the world.
La Maison du Whisky, established in Singapore since 2006, is the organiser of Whisky Live in Singapore and Paris, which is also the biggest Whisky and Spirit show in Europe.
