Recently, Capella Singapore has just launched Capella Collection Chocolate and the Capella Constellation Tea – exclusively available only in Singapore.

The Capella Chocolate Collection
Offering 6 unique flavours using high quality French cocoa brand Cacao Barry and natural ingredients, the collection comprises of 24 pieces of handcrafted chocolate displayed in a reusable jewellery box like wooden case. As the chocolate is preservative free, they are only made upon receipt of order.

The Heritage
The chocolates are made of more than 20 varieties of local ingredients and blends including fresh fruits and spices. To reflect the post-colonial feel about the island, different ingredients used as flavours are such like the Peranakan aromatic confectionery Kueh Lapis and the Malay heritage cooking of Lemongrass and Chili Padi.

Constellation Tea by Gryphon

Exclusively crafted to go with the Capella Chocolate Collection, this tea comprises of Darjeeling white tea with rosehips, grapes and a sprinkle of gold dust. It is one of the many creations by master tea blender and founder of Gryphon Tea Company, Mr Lim Tian Wee.

The white tea is rare as it is only available from the highest-grown plantation in Darjeeling, India. It is a high quality tea with a sweet and smooth finish. Muscat grapes are selected to deliver a long and sweet finish while the blend of rose hips and orange blossoms pack a subtle tartness. The tea is served with a sparkling of edible gold dust, representing the Capella star.

Capella and Gryphon are working together on this combination as a co-branding campaign. “With a name synonymous with luxury as Capella's, it is only fitting that the tea drinking experience is as elegant as the hotel and its surrounds,” says Mr Lim.
