Admittedly, mixing Vodka and White Wine just seems wrong. It’s akin to drinking Red Wine with 7-Up. You can, but it doesn’t mean that you should. This however hasn’t stopped Vodka makers Absolut from creating Tune – a limited blend of Vodka mixed with Sauvignon Blanc.

Absolut are no strangers in creating limited edition blends, but Tune marks a huge departure from what they’ve normally produced for the beverage market. “With Absolut Tune we are taking the curiosity to a new level creating an industry changing product,” said Jonas Tåhlin, Vice President Global Marketing. We believe he may be right.

But whether or not Absolut Tune passes the taste test with connoisseurs and consumers remains to be seen but there’s no denying the appeal of the packaging this limited edition blend comes in. Absolut Tune will feature in a sophisticated cutting-edge bottle complete with a white motif that tears away to reveal the ornate, golden glass bottle and its innovative contents.

Absolut Tune is slated to be launched officially in the U.S. soon with collaborative efforts with fashion designer Charlotte Ronson and singer-songwriter and DJ Solange Knowles. The bad news though, this concoction will only be available in the U.S. market for now.
