Partnering with Perrier-Jouët Champagne, Hilton KL introduces the Bubblicious High Tea at The Lounge – a decadent afternoon indulgence to lift the spirits and treat yourself.
Featuring a spread of savoury and sweet creations by Executive Chef Kazi and his team, the spread is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the stomach: an impressive three-tiered, half-opened bird cage showcases the sweets, while the savouries line up two by two on a cutting board, topped off with a pair of elegant flutes of Perrier-Jouët Champagne Grand Brut in hand-painted glasses. A perfect tea time set for two.
Expect to find high tea classics like classic and raisin scones served with Devonshire whipped cream and the Hilton’s homemade hibiscus jam, berry tarts, and salmon and crabmeat roulade, and also elevated savoury options that go beyond tea time sandwiches (think parmesan-herb crusted Madeleines, basil éclair with semi-dried tomatoes and mozzarella, a Cajun spiced roasted chicken and corn tart).
The Grand Brut is characterised by a floral aroma, notes of fresh fruit and vanilla that is bright and vibrant, but also balanced. Stand out pairings from the set were the buttery Madeleines, the tart and crumbly macaron framboise, and the delightfully sharp luxe berrylicious tart.
Guests are also able to select freshly brewed coffee or tea as a non-alcoholic classic high tea experience. Do note that the Bubblicious High Tea includes one glass of champagne per guest.

The Bubblicious High Tea is available only on weekends from 12:30pm to 5:30pm, from now until the end of May. This set is priced at RM296 nett for two, or RM250 nett for the option with coffee or tea. Reservations are recommended, and can be done here.
