The XV is the brainchild of Sandy Hyslop, Director of Blending at Chivas, composed of a blend of 15-year-old malt and grain whiskies and then finished off in extra precious Grande Champagne Cognac casks (used to make the finest Cognacs in the world). As he puts it, “Chivas XV is a whisky that successfully combines the Chivas tradition and passion for blending with a modern thirst for shared experiences.
