Somersby is bringing its cider game up a notch by introducing their new Sparkling White into the fine dining scene.
Inspired by white wine, this latest version offers an alternative to diners who are looking for drinks with lower alcohol, yet not losing the pairing experience that white wine offers. The acidity level is mild compared to sparkling wines in general, but is slightly sweet and retains a sparkly mouthfeel.
In the debut concept, Somersby collaborated with Elements at TREC for a 4-course menu. The session was guided by Le Petit Chef, the world’s tiniest chef. The idea is to combine food, cinema and technology to the dining experience, a creation by Skull Mapping, an agency from Brussels. Elements is the first to bring this experience to Asia.
Over the 4-course meal prepared by the team led by Chef Jeff Ramsey and Chef Steve, diners are presented with an immersive mapping display projected onto the table. The tiny chef would be seen preparing the meal from catching the raw fish to searing it on the diner’s plate. The character is hilarious while he puts his life on the line to prepare a meal with ingredients bigger than his size.
Sparkling White is served in a wine goblet throughout the meal. Enjoy the promotional rate of the Sparkling White while dining at Le Petit Chef and The Grill at Elements, and participating F&B outlets [https://www.facebook.com/SomersbyMy].
