What’s better than having a drink with good friends at some nice bars in town, catching up on the usual in life and winding down with a good pint in hand? At the same time, give thanks to the beer industry.
International Beer Day is exactly that. Other than enjoying the good company of like-minded people, it is a day to commemorate and show thanks to the men and women who brew and serve beer.
Founded in 2007 by a few friends who thought that there needed to be a day to celebrate all things beer, a small website was created and some local bars started to celebrate. Then the words spread and places outside of the US were starting to celebrate too. It is now a day where bars over 350 cities around the world would have their own celebration, including Malaysia!
Go to any bar you like and enjoy a beer or two, talk about the history and the taste of the beer. There are several outlets which are participating in this global event on the 2nd August 2013 in the Klang Valley.
