Whilst we previously discovered Coffee Joulies that keep your hot drink warm, we have just found something that does the opposite - chill your drink and keep it cool.

Made of 100% stainless steel, Pucs is a Kickstarter project by Dave and Calvin Laituri from Wayland, Washington, USA which was launched on 17 April 2013 to pledge for $2,500. Only after one day release, there are over 260 backers (people who pledge) for the project and there are still 44 days to go.

To best chill your favourite drink without the unwanted chemicals left behind by ice, Pucs is perfect for keeping your liquid pure. A drink’s coolness can be fine-tuned by adding Pucs into the drink as the stainless steel conductor releases the chill steadily and evenly, and stay cool for quite a while. You can also use Pucs to cool your hot beverage and bring it to a drinkable temperature.

Pucs is 100% inert, that means it will not absorb or add any flavour to your drinks. The shape of Pucs is designed to be “marshmallow-like” to protect glassware.
