Club 5 Bartenders’ Choice of Cocktails

Club 5, initially a dance club established in 1986 now a cocktail bar since the revamp in 2020, has released three new drinks in addition to their cocktail menu that pays homage to Kampong Glam, with creations by putting their bartenders to the limelight. Head Bartender Richard Li and his colleagues Rino and Amy each concocted a recipe that reflect their personalities and temperaments. Take a selfie with one of the bartenders to receive a complimentary cocktail.

Three Buns New Menu

Three Buns introduces a fully refreshed drinks menu. Try their new cocktail, mocktail and milkshake recipes to go with their meat and vegetarian burgers, notably an extension of the collaboration with CHIX Hot Chick'n. Go smoky with Big Man (S$22++) of Compass Box Artist Blend Scotch base; refreshing with Lady Miss Kir (S$19) with Tini Prosecco; or boozy sweetness with That’s Bananas Milkshake (S$19) with double shot of house-infused banana rum. For the tee tooler, there are fizzy Polyjuice Potion (S$8) with green apple, cucumber, lime, and Strawberry Fields (S$8) with strawberry sorbet, lime; or Man Go Free Milkshake (S$12) with house made vegan coconut ice cream. Find modern twist classic burgers like Da Cheese Master (S$19) or Smokin’ B-Boy (S$25) using Tasmanian vintage beef patty to match with the new drinks.

ZUS Coffizz (MY)

ZUS Coffee launched a new vertical, Malaysia’s first halal canned sparkling coffee launched by ZUS, COFFIZZ, is a ready-to-drink (RTD) canned coffee carbonated to reduce the bitter taste to bring an experience similar to a soft drink. Created with real coffee extract from ZUS Coffee recipe, the low caffeine limited bubbly coffee is now available at RM3.50 at selected FamilyMart stores in Malaysia nationwide from 24 January 2024 onwards.

Global launch of Glenglassaugh's Serpentine Coastal Cask Collection

Launched in Singapore as the first stop, these NAS malt from the 1970s comprises of a collection of old and rare cask bottlings pay homage to the rugged northeast coast of the Scottish Highlands, naming after the precious Serpentine marble found in cliffs surrounding Glenglassaugh Distillery. The three expressions aged over 48 years which have been laying in the warehouse of the closed distillery for two decades before reopening in 2008, are each bottled from a single cask and individually numbered will be available on allocation worldwide starting with Singapore from 22 January 2024 onwards.
- Cask number 1863, distilled 28th May 1974, aged in Aleatico Red Wine Barrique for 48 years (46.1% at 7,500 pounds)
- Cask number 5640, distilled 9th November 1973, aged in Bourbon Barrel for 49 Years Old (42.1% at 8,300 pounds)
- Cask number 1723, distilled 25th October 1972, aged in Oloroso Puncheon for 51 Years Old (44.2% at 10,600 pounds)

An offshoot of Sultans of Shave grooming shop that cleverly integrates hairstyles into its cocktail menu, complementing its barbershop ambiance. With drinks named after iconic hairstyles, the bar aims to spark conversations and tailor cocktails to guests' personalities, similar to hairstylists crafting styles. The speakeasy offers 10 signature cocktails under the "Styles" menu, each reflecting individual personalities inspired by hairstyles. Guests can also opt for bespoke concoctions crafted by skilled bartenders Ian and Ally. The cozy bar features navy blue seating, a Japanese-inspired bar counter, and outdoor seating, offering a convivial atmosphere with complimentary pretzel snacks.

Roia, named after river Roya meanders between France and Italy, has opened its doors with Chef Priyam Chatterjee's menu with a natural and organic approach, integrating a fusion of culinary tradition and contemporary innovation plated with inspiration from the works of Jackson Pollock and Damien Hirst. The Matching the vibe of the botanic garden, the restaurant is housed in Singapore's UNESCO World Heritage Botanic Garden's E.J.H. Corner House, where Edred John Henry Corner FRS took residence during his tenure with the Gardens.
RO.IA one of four restaurants housed in E.J.H. Corner House, is located at 1 Cluny Rd, Singapore Botanic Gardens, 259569 Singapore. Wed-Fri 6.30pm – 12am. 6-course menu is priced at S$188++ per person, 8-course at S$288++ per person.
