Hot topics involving the industry will be discussed in workshops, talks and masterclasses. Find out the state of the industry by founder of SEA Brew, Charles Guerrier; geek out with experts like Olivier Caille, Technical Manager of Yeast Derivatives, Fermentis; Dr Chris White, founder and CEO of White Labs; discuss sales and distribution topics with Stu McKinlay, founder of Yeastie Boys; brewhouse improvements with Konstantin Ziller, Brewmaster/R&D of Ziemann-Holvrieka; explore business growth strategy from Steve Anderson, Strategic Brewing Director of Barossa Valley Brewing Co. and many more.
Fifty three brands will be showcasing their products and services at the trade fair. Expect to see the latest technologies, brewing solutions, ingredients suppliers, and equipment on offer and make face-to-face deals.
New this year in SEA Brew is the inclusion of the Asia Beer Championship Awards Night when the best beers in Asia will be announced. Beer judging was completed on 23rd August in Singapore. Two new categories have been added to the 20 from last year for apple cider and specialty apple cider, reflecting the increasing popularity of this category in the region.
While the focus of SEA Brew is on networking, education and information sharing, the social calendar at the end of both conference days is also much anticipated. A series of tap takeovers around the city will allow attendees the opportunity to unwind at various bars including tasting Thai brews and beers specially imported for the conference.
Additionally, a Habitat for Humanity Charity fundraising campaign on the last evening will help raise funds to build 2 houses in underprivileged communities in rural Thailand.
Although the conference is officially over, there are still the SEA Brew after party Saturday Beer Festival featuring beers from local brewers, and the K-Brew tap takeover at Changwon Express where one can meet the brewers while enjoying some of the best Korean beers. Both of these take place on Saturday evening 28th September and are open to the public.
