With the return of restaurants’ normal operating hours, SOULed OUT Hartamas has extended International Mojito Day to a one-month long celebration, Cuban style.
The popular neighbourhood café is running a full Havana theme from 11th July to 15th August 2020 which incorporates a special limited Cuban food menu, Trinidad cigars, Salsa tunes and a Cuban Mojito Corner.
The Cuban Mojito Corner is set up at the newly installed Funky Bar right by the restaurant’s entrance, where 30 different types of Mojitos are churned out every Thursday to Sunday. Bacardi, the largest family-owned rum brand, in partnership with the outlet will be lending their Trade Ambassador, Jonas Ax, to whip up the classic Cuban rum cocktails for guests on Thursdays and Fridays.
Bacardi Trade Ambassador, Jonas Ax
Catch Jonas and probe him to tell you stories and about rum varieties while getting the bartender’s advice on creating your own Bacardi Highball, labelled as Rum Two Three at the outlet.
SOULed OUT’s very own bartenders, including local maestro Frankie Leson and the team who came up with the 30 Mojitos recipes, will be able to describe taste flavours for each concoction. Get 3 cocktails at RM60 and 6 Mojito Ica Lollies for RM25. The take-away classic Mojito in a bottle that serves two is RM19, which can be topped up with even more rum and soda.
