There are only 100 bottles worldwide of The Glenlivet Winchester Collection Vintage 1966 available globally and bottle No. 10 is allocated to Malaysia to be auctioned this month.

Only the Guardians of The Glenlivet will be invited to participate in the race to own this whisky.
This is not the first time Malaysia gets an allocation of the limited edition whisky. In the previous Winchester Collection, the Vintage 1964 came to Malaysia and was auctioned at a record-breaking price of RM96,000 in 2015.

The auction for Bottle No. 10 will be held at Mantra Bar KL on 25 May 2017. Attendance is by invitation only and the ticket (cost at RM120) will allow the attendees to taste The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve, 12YO, 15YO, 18YO, the Master Distiller’s series and even the 25 Year Old XXV.

One of the non-bidding guests will also get to win a bottle of The Glenlivet 25 Year Old XXV worth RM3,000 by participating in a game to guess the final bid price.
Auction winner of The Vintage 1966 will however, other than the bottle of vintage, also enjoy 2 business class tickets to Scotland, 3D2N stay at the Chivas Brothers guesthouse and private tours and tastings at the distilleries.

Tickets prices are RM80 for Guardians of the Glenlivet and RM120 for non-Guardians. Guardians will be permitted to bring 3 guests each, at the special Guardians’ price. More details are available at www.theglenlivetguardians.com.my.

Bottle No.10 of The Glenlivet Winchester Collection Vintage 1966 was sold at the higest price ever paid for a single bottle of whisky at RM116,000. The previous record was held by Bottle No. 3 of The Glenlivet Winchester Collection Vintage 1964 at a sale price of RM96,000.
