There is such a thing as taking fandom a tad too far and this Transformers inspired wine rack is a perfect example. Thought up, created and built single handedly by Arizona native Clifford Wong, the robotic looking wine stands as an ode to fans of the Michael Bay movie and Hasbro toy franchise as well as...urm... wine lovers too.
The Transformers wine rack is made entirely out of automobile transmission parts, boasts its own set of lights and is reportedly able to hold up to 32 bottles. If you’re one of the many Transformers fans out there who think this robotic wine rack is totally out of this world and thinking about owning one, you’re in luck as Wong has put his one of a kind creation on sale.
However, be forewarned that this is one ‘Transformer’ that won’t come cheap. In addition to its asking price of $7,000 to own it, you also have to stomach the transportation costs which will literally cost a bomb - the wine rack weighs at almost half a ton and stands at 6-feet tall.
Wong however has yet to name his creation or decided the robot’s affiliation. We’re willing to put good money that it’s a Decepticon. As for the name... well let’s just not go there shall we?
