The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2024 will be running a 10-day feast with over 300 events across the city from 15 to 24 March.
In celebration of Melbourne’s diverse culinary scene, the festival commences with the renown World’s Longest Lunch on the 15th, featuring acclaimed chef Andrew McConnell; followed by the World’s Longer Brunch the next day, showcasing new-wave Indian food champions.
The Global Dining Series will attract food talent from Australia and beyond, hosting unique dinners, collaborations, and residencies.
Fed Square will host various events, including a celebration of bakers, a celebrity-inspired sausage sizzle, a wood-fired pizza pop-up, and an all-day diner throughout the festival.
Additional highlights include the Westside Wanders progressive dining series across Melbourne's suburbs and the Special Events Program.
The festival is significany in spotlighting Victoria's produce and culinary prowess and aims to draw food lovers nationwide and globally, boosting local businesses and employment.
