The evening will start with a masterclass by Nao Kohara, founder of Nihonshu Oendan on the pairing of 3 sakes with 3 European oysters. Followed by a main course and dessert to round up the dinner.
Featuring Noto, Kunisaki and Ageo, three sakes from three off-the-beaten-track locations in Japan, crafted to bring out the unique terroir of each region and are produced in small batches to ensure the highest quality. There will also be a one-night-only Nihonshu Oendan pop-up bar offering their sakes starting from RM30 per glass and RM216 per bottle.
Nihonshu Oendan is a Japanese sake company that helps to revive small historical sake breweries with a mission to brew and bring the purest, most authentic Japanese sake to the world. The event is a collaboration between Nomi Tomo Sake House and Souther Rock Seafood.
