Attend The Grape Escape 2025 and Witness National Sommelier Competition Finals

Singapore’s largest consumer wine fair, The Grape Escape, returns on 12 October 2025 at PARKROYAL on Beach Road, offering the public a rare chance to explore the world of wine side by side with industry professionals. First launched in 2018 as the public-facing extension of the Singapore National Sommelier Competition, the fair has quickly become a cornerstone of the country’s wine calendar.

This year’s theme, “Progeny and Prodigies”, pairs heritage with innovation, inviting guests to taste from more than 50 exhibitor booths, meet legendary winemakers and rising stars, and take part in interactive masterclasses and professional tasting demonstrations. The fair expects to welcome 400–500 attendees, from sommeliers and trade partners to students, media, and wine lovers.

Bottles & Bottles, the homegrown retailer celebrating its 21st anniversary, reprises its role as main sponsor for the third consecutive year. Visitors can expect exclusive first tastes of Canada’s Arterra Wines, including Le Clos Jordanne’s Burgundian-style Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Jackson-Triggs sparkling wines, and Inniskillin’s world-famous Icewine, alongside French classics from AdVini’s Burgundy and Rhône Valley estates such as Maison Champy and Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes, plus Champagne Jeeper.

The programme also includes a masterclass highlight, “Niagara in a Glass,” at 3.15pm led by Randy Dufour, VP of Arterra Wines Canada. With more than 25 years of experience and a role in pioneering Canadian Icewine’s entry into Asia, Dufour will guide participants through the cool-climate wines of Niagara, from taut Chardonnay to the honeyed depth of Icewine.
