The masterminds behind Lou Shang Bar have created another winner with Bonfire Restaurant & Bar in Damansara Uptown’s newly opened Starling Mall.
They claim their food philosophy is about celebration, meaning they’re all about quality ingredients served up on sharing platters to be enjoyed by everyone. Plus, everything’s cooked in their custom-made wood and charcoal fired oven. It’s modern Australian cuisine together with Malaysian elements, which produces dishes and drinks that are unique and packed with flavour (have you ever tried baked watermelon salad before? You’ll be pleasantly surprised). Red meat, poultry, and seafood…there’s something for everyone.
The décor matches the menu, which is to say elegant, modern, and creative – we are so charmed by the giant whimsical mural that watches over the diners, painted by local artist Ellie Yong.

The bar is helmed by award-winning bartenders, and features some refreshing cocktails that complements the dishes beautifully.
