Literally meanings “Coffee Yay!”, Kohi Yatta is a café by day and bar by night that shares a space with a car showroom in the busy Jalan Sg. Besi industrial area.
The spacious venue provides plenty of room and light through the windows, making it an ideal stop for a meal before work or just to hang out with a cuppa. A play area is available for kids, whilst the baby changing room is conveniently stocked with wet wipes and lotion, making the place friendlier for parents. A separate section for small private parties and an event hall next door aimed at hosting weddings and bigger events of at least 20 round tables are also available. Parking space is plenty within the gated and guarded compound.

The café serves breakfast and lunch and when it turns into a bar at 630pm, dinner and cocktails are in replacement while coffee and tea are also available. As the name suggests, food offered is Japanese inspired with some using local ingredients such as Salted Egg Crispy Ebi Burger or Anchovies Itame.

The drinks menu includes a wide range of beverages from espresso, hot chocolate, Houjicha Latte to juices. There are also the special brewed iced teas like Haru Hana Ocha, which is chrysanthemum, pineapple and goji berry, or Fuyu Hana Ocha that is a black tea with passion fruit and kyuri.
Alcohol offerings range from Japanese bottled beer, sake, umeshu, and whisky to Australian red and white wines. Drinks on the cocktail menu, priced between RM19++ to RM23++, are created by the team in-house with a mix of Japanese and local ingredients.
