Filling the long emptied corner of Jalan Nagasari and Jalan Mesui, a new 3-level cocktail hangout has been brought into the happening Meri-hood at Changkat Bukit Bintang. The Colonel building has been refurbished with a white colour painted graffiti wall and 3 different themes on different levels: Industrial Lounge, Opulent Lounge and The Rooftop.

All three levels serve one important mission: to serve finely crafted cocktails either off the menu or tailored to suit the mood of each individual customer or its interior.

The Industry

The industrial lounge with “deliberately decayed” finishes and the open kitchen and grill gives a for more relaxed and less formal space; for lounging, go to Opulent Lounge at level two with big arms chairs and couches; for open air space and be out of the chaotic city below, The Rooftop has the biggest exposed rooftop in the neighbourhood that is filled with plants and lush greens.

The Opulent

Eclectic mix of party pleasers, classic genres and up to date releases are played by Dj’s managed by artist management company Oscar Wise at level two every Wednesday to Saturday from 10pm onwards.

The Rooftop
Their Kitchen opening from the first week of November onwards will be serving gourmet burgers, steaks, ribs, hot dogs and bar snacks the Australian style.

The Establishment is part of the Taj Hospitality Pty Ltd based in Australia which also operates the two rooftop trend bars in Melbourne - The Emerald Peacock & The Red Hummingbird. The third establishment, No. 3 will be opening in December in Melbourne bearing the Parisian inspired concept. Taj Hospitality is a mutli-award winning establishment and a close partner of the Melbourne City Council in many of the city’s key marketing campaigns.
