Begin the year with the premier wine show, Fruits of the Vine, returning for its second edition. The one-day event on 27 January 2024 (Saturday), will take place at the brand-new The Singapore EDITION Hotel, offering attendees unlimited tastings and access to four enriching masterclasses.
Similar to its inaugural edition, the Grand Walkabout will feature 100 brands and 400 labels, providing general admission ticket holders with an opportunity to taste from 200 labels, served at 30ml portions, encompassing wines from both Old and New World regions. VIP ticket holders will indulge in a broader selection, including special edition bottles totaling 400 labels.
Doors open for all guests at 12:30 pm, concluding at 5 pm. VIP ticket holders get the first dip at 11am, allowing for exclusive wine exploration and meet-and-greets with the winemakers.
Anticipate a showcase of 24 outstanding wines rated 90 points or higher, including the 2021 Occidental Wines - Pinot Noir Freestone-Occidental (98 points), 2021 Raen Winery - Sonoma Coast Royal St. Robert Cuvee (98 points), 2018 Domaine Belargus - Coteaux du Layon 'Layon' (96 points), among others.
Masterclasses
The event will feature four masterclasses led by wine experts, including Chong Wai Keng (Dom Pérignon brand ambassador), Thibault Jacquet (Domaine Bonneau du Martray manager), Alexander Van Beek (General Director of Château Giscours), Mason Ng (Park90’s Wine Director), and Lucas Liu (Park90's Group Head Sommelier).
Attendees can explore wines from California's Central Coast through Sine Qua Non Q.E.D. (S$175, 10:30 am to 11:30 am), delve into the vinicultural mastery of Napa Valley wines in The Incredible Grapes of the Screaming Eagle Family (S$150, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm), taste the finest vintages of the iconic Champagne house in the Dom Pérignon Masterclass (TBC, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm), and experience Bordeaux's viticultural heritage in Bordeaux Tapestry: Exploring Giscours and Cos d'Estournel Wines (S$100, 4:30 pm - 6 pm).
